your style is becoming more and more fluid, which is cool. I can't wait til i develop my own style one day...i gotta stop being lazy and get to drawing more often. Have you ever thought about animating? nothing complicated but like using flash.
wow, what're the odds that i'd post a drawing really similar to this one then when i search to see other superman drawings, almost the same concept had bee done (and better). makes me feel unoriginal and the whatnots... -_-
this is a great pic, sir. and if its just a sketch, then its even more awesome.
if you wanna check out the one i did, and comment, feel free to.
btw, in no way did i copy your material, i stumbled upon your page like, yesterday.
I did a quick sketch at first then layed some drafting vellum on top and went straight to brush...I did a series of these over a 12 hour stretch....usually when I work, I go for extended hours so the work becomes more lively and natural as the hours go by. People always comment on my work being fluid...that's the secret.
The color part was done at the beginning of the day a bit later...they are roughly 1/2 hour each.
i understand. i do the same shit. very rarely do i work something from start to completion without a break or at least working on something else. and alot of times i'll have two or three pieces out at a time. it helps keep from getting sick of what you've got in front of you.
as far as the colors. they're awesome. and the fact that they only took a half hour floors me. i dread coloring shit cuz it takes me so long. i also have a problem with loosening up on my application
